Mercedes CLK 240 - 02 D. Bro's new Car

Postby IrishPhoenix » Wed Jan 25, 2006 10:03 am

The brother just got a big horse of engine, Merc. 2.6 litre. Its automatic but has a good bit of poke in it. The interior is nice with these little arms that 'hand' your seatbelt to you. Anyone know anything about the BHP etc in these cars?
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

One of the girls here at work has one - drove it not so long ago - fine car - very comfortable - 2.6 litre V6 with 170bhp - 0-60 in 9.2secs or thereabouts. Not a sports car but thats not why you'd buy one.

Drove another mates CLK 55 AMG a few years back - that was certainly more like it but off mine and 99% of the planets chart in terms of affordability.

Google says 177bhp (EDIT: it also says 170 and 165, take your pic!), did he get an adapter for a hairdryer in the glove box? (NOI ;))
