Alright lads,
Got the 1.8 auto petrol, however I was driving up the hill today and was a loss of power ... Sometimes it goes fine, and changes gears no problem but a bit indecisive as to what gear to select when I put the foot down.
At one point i thought I wasn't making it up the hill!
any ideas lads?

Just done the TC test and engine stalls at 2300 revs, i believe this is normal?

I dont know if anyone iin the club has a 1.8 auto. We did a club outing today and done a good bit of hill climbing no problem. Sorry I cant help.

I feel a bit silly, later that night the car cut off, seems it had run out of fuel ... put £25 in her and took her a good drive and gears seemed to be changing and selecting fine! ha, I still feel something isn't quite right though ...

Indeed. Change that 1.8 GS for a 2 litre V6 manual mivec and you'll notice a change.
