Octane.ie meet today - Carrickmines...

Went along to meet a friend at it. My god there was some amount of cars. maybe 100+ cars at it. Piston heads NI came down aswell so it was a joint meet.
some of the highlights were 2 Ferrari 308s, a Ferrari 355, a Lambo Gallardo, a AMG merc 63cl, a Ford GT40!!!, several M3s, a M5, an NSX, several Porsche GT3s, lots of s2000s, 911s, Evos, 200sx., new Nissan GTR, R33 GTRs, Ford Mustang, couple of old Camaro Z28s, Lotus Elise, Exige, alfa GTV, thats all I cna htink off my head. (and one FTO of course). Optical Illusion, my mate was saying you normally there? didn't spot you?
great meet. It was underground in the Car park at carrickmines and we had the place to ourselves. Never seen such a big turnout before. Underground is awesome. It was nice and bright, and the sound was crazy

What a freaking day, best meet ever. Mcgon - that was you!! Car looked fantastic! Never got round to going over there! Sat into Steve's Ford GT and had a poke around, amazing. That AMG was something else...

my mate is UCJ. Drives the M Coupe. Yeah it was some meet. Brilliant! Steves GT40 was awesome!

Nice cars all right. Is there 2 different parts to Octane.ie or something? Cause these are the type of cars I remember from seeing at some octane meet before, yet when I went into it a couple of months ago I didnt see any supercars? Or is it pistonheads NI making up the majority of them?

No Martin, only one part to it. Most were octanes, PH NI were there alright but there were only a few down that day.

From the pics there it seems like most of the mega machines were Northern or English reg, with the exception of a few Ferraris and the Ford GT ?

There was even a Renault Alpine there - haven't seen one of those in about 25 years !!
