FTO-Ireland Committee

Postby Bernard » Thu Mar 19, 2009 12:20 pm

As was previously communicated, a committee has been set up to help share the workload of keeping FTO-Ireland running smoothly.

CJ is the Chairperson, Webmaster & Moderator.
Muad_dib77 will continue to look after merchandising but will now take on the role of club treasurer in addition to Moderator.
Colm_mcm will still be coordinating our meets but now will also be moderating the board.
No change for Kevinod, still moderating.
Sebastian will still be liaising with vendors to secure club discounts.
And yours truly (Bernard) will be the secretary
(I'm waiting for the comments on this one )

There will be little or no change to the day to day goings on of the club, as above the main intention to to spread the workload and provide future direction for the club.
I'm sure most of you will agree there is a lot of work needed to keep things going as well as they have.

Watch this space for any updates, comments welcome.

Congrats Bernard on your appointment to club secretary, pardon my ignorance what I should have said was the right honourable sir Berno.
Great idea forming a committee guys.
Will there be a term of office so to speak? or do we have to wait for someone to abdicate their throne for an oppourtunity for other club members to run for office
