Either 1 mate i dont mind. Triptronic would be fun... i think never drove one. Do they give box trouble? Either one would be fine.

Budget is about 6000

Your best bet is to read through similar threads on the forum or go to the buying guide on the main section of the site.

You should try keep to the 2.0V6's over the 1.8 - insurance very similar.
The tiptronic box is actually quite good but there have been some known issues - I had a GR Tip and really enjoyed the car - but a Manual GPX (which has a mivec version of the V6) would be faster and more sought after.

Take a look on CBG,autotrader and buy and sell for what is out there at present - test drive a few different models but make sure you get the car properly inspected before making a decision to buy - FTO's are not exactly cheap to run - if you buy a bad one it could cost you a fortune - hence I'd be careful about buying a damaged car.

In case you haven't already, check out the buying guide off the main page, well worth a look.

Buy & Sell usually has a few tip FTOs on there, and the occasional manual. I see there's a few on now. Go into http://www.buyandsell.ie and put fto in to the search. It'll at least give you a good idea of prices.

There's one tip in autotrader.ie for <6k (although only just), and one in cbg.ie up by the airport (I'm assuming they're different ones).

Keep an eye out though, have a look throught the forums, and ask plenty questions!

:D Probably not the best forum to hold that sort of opinion!

But seriously, what did you not like about them?

Congratulations on being the first person to be publically banned from this forum and having your account revoked. I trust that I don't need to explain this decision any further.
