Now seriously, doing the other head tappets this time:

















Its not easy done but got there eventually, also stock 60mm throttle body and stock intake manifold back on.

By by throttle response and high revs powa, welcome back low end torque

Finally got round to remove the engine:





There a couple things that i want to do this time

Ive lifted the cam trays to re seal em:



Ive expected the front one had leaks in a few spots but hell nearly whole cam tray were leaking!











Only the top of the cam tray was still holding up quite well:



Ive prepared the head for the new sealant:



Also the cam tray was cleaned and the sealant put on it.



When front done ive moved to the rear head that i thought has no leaks and i only wanted to re do the sealant:

The rear bank was indeed better but had leaks as well:







And both redone!

That's a fine job done. I would be terrified to undertake that task.

well, i cant say i was not haha, but had some little experience from doing such a job on 1.6 Mivec engines.

It went quite good and easy and i was able to check and re do the exhaust side tappet clearance on the left hand side head, should be quiet as a mouse now!
