Anyone interested in attending the Lurgan park rally? I went a couple of years ago and there was a subaru impreza o.c. there about 20 imprezas and a couple of nice legay turbos for good measure, they were all parked in formation within the grounds of the park, also a classic opel o.c. couple of chevettes, manta's, mk1&2 astras and a monza. was thinking we could do the same, is an excellent day out and good venue for a club meet north of the border.
As this isn't until august gives everyone plenty of notice.

Lurgan park rally is good from a newcomer to rallying perspective as your not stuck in one spot for the duration of the day as you can move about the park between stages, see the service area etc. should be a crackin day

I'll also take a run down to this. Should be a good day.

just counting that my paint work is sorted but yeps from me too

UPDATE; I spoke to Barry Taggart (clerk of course) this afternoon and have reserved 10 spaces in the park for those wanting to attend. we would need to be in the park by 9am at the lataest as the stage goes live at 9.30am, entrance to the park is £10 payable at the gate and once your car is in the park you will not be able to leave until 5.30pm.
As a matter of interest a Subaru owners club will also be in attendance.

Bumpety bump, anymore takers? if your interseted in this add your name to the list as I'll have to confirm numbers shortly with the organisers.

Eugene Donnelly, Derek magarritty and Kevin Lynch have confirmed their entries for Lurgan park. Donnelly will be driving Skoda WRC

Is this meet still going ahead? Numbers at getting low. If it is hopefully we get half decent weather for it!

You shouldn't let the paint hold you back from a great day out

Sad to say it, but numbers were never that high to begin with. Come on guys and gals on few other rallies can you get so close to the action, the atmosphere is 90 with the sound of wrc and old skool rally machinery echoing around the park with a mixture of gravel and tarmac on the same stage.
To Wolfy. Don't let the paint issue deter you everyone can appreciate it's a work in progress

Wolfgy, just don't wash the car. Let the dirt cover up the marks in the paint!

Hey all again. Been a wee while since I've been on. Still heading to the rally on saturday. Not 100% sure on how to get to it though. I've only passed through Lurgan myself a few times. I'll be heading down from the Moira roundabout (M1 I think) direction if someone could give me a quick guide or google maps pic or something

I'm in the middle of 'tinkering' with the centre console, most of which I've now broke or cracked. Should have something sorted to cover it up by then lol
