Alright lads

Postby RatherBeDean » Thu Aug 29, 2013 4:11 pm

As the title says, alright lads,
Recently bought my first FTO from DoneDeal for an absolute bargain €350.

1.8 semi automatic gearbox, petrol.

She's a bit of a project at present, seems fairly sound mechanically (got back to Dublin from Clare with no hassle) just needing a good spitshine, a battery, a couple new tyres and a good clean of the engine bay, however I intend to keep her for the long haul so I'll be doing a fair bit of work on her over the next few months to try make a total custom job to my spec.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to DIY engine work, so expect all sorts of questions from me between now and whenever I think I've figured everything out.

I'm based in North Dublin by the way.

Nice to meet you all

The red one in Clare. Very nice. I'm based in North Dub too, so let me know if you need help. My bro in law also just broke an fto, so there are spare parts if needed.
