In the last 2 weeks, there was a bit of a clunking noise coming from the front passenger shock. Left the car into Atlas to have it looked at and the spring was "slightly out", which caused it to make a clunk every now and again. I also noticed that when I applied the brakes, I could feel it was bumpy through the pedal. I notice this just after I bought the car, but it was (and although it has got worse) and still is barely noticeable. Front discs are warped :(

I just ordered a new set of drilled & grooved front discs from camskill, which are the same type as I put on the rear hubs last year. Costing €75 delivered, because they are now a clearance item. All going well, I will get them on Thursday and with any luck will get them fit the same day. I won't be doing a self install this time round.

I'm secretly building another fto. All i need for the other one is an engine and a windscreen :)

I was browsing through a couple of facebook photos and I just spotted that my hypnotherapy tutor either still owns, or recently owned a red 96 fto with a MN reg. Funny. She probably planted a hypnotic suggestion into my head to buy one when I was still studying :D

I see. Don't know if she still owns it though. The pic was from 2011 and mentioned that it would be failing the nct that day. I was browsing thumb nail pics of some of my facebook contacts (yes i was bored) and I spotted the fto a mile away.

My discs didn't arrive today :(

I'm sure they will tomorrow though.

Greenstuff pads arrived yesterday morning and I dropped her into Atlas to get the discs and pads on. Collected a few hours later and she is back to braking sweet spot. It wasn't bad before, but it was noticeable and would have been eating the pads.

My baby is in the body shop again. Work getting done:

• drivers door resprayed. Some ho damaged it and drove off.
• passenger wing resprayed. Unexplained deep, wide scratch.
• bonnet gas lifters sprayed. Surface rusted over :(
• windscreen washer jets sanded and sprayed. Poor DIY paint job.
• scratch on passenger mirror removed. Parking is tight in my garden.
• valet. I'm lazy. I've said it before :D

She's been in there a couple of days now. I hope to collect the spare bootlid and oe spoiler.

Collected on Tuesday and is looking brand new again.

I've looked all over the place for a HKS spoiler and have had no luck. I've grown a bit bored of bare ass and i'm wanting to dress up the rear end again. The version R spoiler will only annoy me, blocking the rear view, so I'm thinking of putting an OE spoiler on her.

She has been in the body shop a couple of days to get some protection under the rear arches. Also getting an oe spoiler put on her. I wonder if the small spoiler is what she originally had....i am guessing yes. My brother in law is picking her up tomorrow. Right now, i'm watching the sun set over the mountains in Riva Del Garda, Italy. I hear the weather in Ireland sucks today :D
