i have tried today to remove a light and the front bumper .. unsuccesfull
and the rain started

any howto tricks would be appreciated! .10nx

Be careful no to break the little yellow things - if one breaks it's near impossible to line the bumper up correctly afterwards..

wanna change the grill

i tried to take out the signal light from the bumper , but the screw is
damaged and after trying a few times in different days .. with half a spray WD40 .. didnt move a mm
do yea know how to do it ? i guess i have to break the screw

Drill the head off it mate with some hss drill bits

Oh man Seb that doesn't look like easy work..
You can generally get those out with one of those "polarity" finder screwdrivers.. yes they're flathead - and not really supposed to be used for that and it's fiddly...

but..

Had the zact problem 3dqy.
Light looked like a simple 1 screw removal job.
Tried but the screw was tight as a Nun's.......
Tried WD40v but to no avail.
Am I missing sumptin r will I just go ahead and butcher it 2morrow?

There is only that one screw holding it in.

Plenty of WD40 mixed with an equal measure of elbowgrease (not knucklefat) usually does it.

something else might hold that light (check the interior - under wheel arch - hint : cable ties) if the screw it's lose and the light doesnt come out.

mine still didnt came out . i think its bonded (W@!$$@$! !! )
soon i'll rip it out !

No, it's just that one screw, it's pure female dog to get out.
I ended up drilling mine.

Regarding this light cluster.
There are 3 bulbs within it.
1. The indicator
2. The side light
3. Dunno what this is.
I would presume it's a fog light but no power comes to it when the
fog lights are turned on.
My car's got them stupid little fog lights that are installed into the grille.
They work fine when the fog light switch is activated but I'm getting nothing at the 3rd bulb in the light cluster.

.....or get a set of tapered reverse thread screw removers, no toolkit should be without them, saved my bacon a dozen times. Think I paid about a fiver for a set of 5. (You still have to drill a little hole to get the thread started, but theres less likelythood or running off the head and drilling whatever your screw is in!)
